After a decade-long pause, the Orchestre National de France, one of the permanent orchestras of Radio France, will finally travel to America for a great tour from November 7 through 9, 2025. The orchestra will bring French music back to this unique musical stage, helping to strengthen the transatlantic bonds of friendship spanning the history, culture and tradition of United States and France.

Radio France is not only France’s top radio broadcasting group, it’s also a major cultural player for the quality of its programs, the reputation of its musical ensembles, its involvement in multiple artistic events and its active support of artists.

Thanks to its four permanent musical ensembles (Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Chœur de Radio France and Maîtrise de Radio France), Radio France is now the top concert producer in Europe. In this capacity, it is a protector of cultural legacy and creation.

Through its radio stations – France Musique in particular, with its virtual concert hall at francemusique.com – Radio France is able to broadcast this rich musical legacy worldwide.

Within Radio France, the Orchestre National de France plays the role of ambassador, helping to share France’s symphonic excellence with the world. The US tour, this Fall 2025, helps forward this vocation.

The Orchestre National de France is committed to sharing with audiences in France and all over the world the wealth and diversity of France’s symphonic heritage, while nurturing a long-term relationship with American musical cultures. Radio France and the United State have a long history of friendship by the promotion of the American repertoire and supporting American composers.

Working with pianist Daniil Trifonov (whose career has taken him far and wide, to Paris, throughout France, and to the most prestigious classical music venues in the world), the Orchestre National de France, directed by Cristian Măcelaru, will be playing repertoires that lie at the core of its identity: Maurice Ravel (to commemorate the 150th anniversary of his birth), Elsa Barraine and Camille Saint-Saëns.
