Join the FACC Sustainability & Innovation Committee's second event and follow up to the May Forum. A dynamic panel discussion and breakfast networking event hosted in collaboration with the UNDP. Participation in this event requires approval.

Our “take-make-waste” system is no longer working for businesses, people or the environment.

For that reason, the circular economy is rising rapidly to the top of business leaders and policymakers' agendas. The new way forward? Restorative and regenerative ways to design and use resources.

Embracing this transformation will unlock billion dollar economic opportunities. But it requires action from everyone and everything: businesses, governments, individuals, our cities, products and our jobs. Only then can we ensure prosperity for business and our planet.

Join us during United Nations Climate Week for a dynamic discussion in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) where you will learn:

  1. What is the circular economy?
  2. Is there a reliable way for business to increase profitability while reducing dependence on natural resources?
  3. How is the market systematically rewarding companies with an edge in circular business practices?
  4. Which companies and cities are taking the lead? What did they do to get started? And what kinds of results are they seeing?
  5. Will moving toward a circular economy require changes in consumer behavior?
