MD Voice Column- Edition 4
Dear members and visitors of the French-American Chamber of Commerce New York,
My first editorial for the FACC-NY social media publication was written on March 19, 2020. A month ago. Should I rather say … a century ago? So much has changed in a month, it is hard to believe we are still in New York, in 2020.
I walked by the FACC-NY offices this weekend and could not recognize any of the busy atmosphere or the activity. For those who have attended events at the chamber in the past, you remember how vibrant this area in Midtown is.
Yes, things have changed but we are in the process of building new relationships, imagining the “new normal”, reinventing the way we all do business. And in every crisis lie new opportunities, new challenges and we all need to take chances. “We are in this together” is the moto of this totally unexpected crisis. Let’s imagine the future together and get out of this stronger, more agile and better.
First, let us know what we can do to help you, support your business, open new doors, make new connections. As members, you are entitled to several connections each year: do not hesitate to ask us for introductions, virtual networking and references.
Second, we have sent out a Member survey asking you how we, at the FACC-NY, could serve you better. Please take 1 minute of your time to reply and orient us as we plan for new activities.
And last but not least, we are pursuing more webinars with more content on multiple topics.
Thank you for the privilege of serving the French-American business community.
My team and I are here, you can count on us and we are looking forward to working with you and for you,
Have a productive week,
Isabelle Estebe
