Vendôme Global Partners was the exclusive Financial Advisor to Dries Van Noten in its recent sale to Puig.
Founded in Antwerp in 1986, Dries Van Noten is one of the most authentic, differentiated and successful independent designer fashion houses.
On June 14, 2018, Dries Van Noten announced its strategic partnership with Puig, the Barcelona-based, family-owned fashion and fragrance company. With global sales of approximately €2 billion, Puig owns venerable fashion houses including Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Puig will be the majority owner alongside Dries Van Noten, who will remain a significant minority shareholder and will continue in his role as Chief Creative Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Since Vendôme Global Partners was formed six years ago, the sole focus has been in representing iconic brands and talented entrepreneurs within the Luxury Sector and in Connecting Creative Brands, with the goal of optimizing each client's specific objectives and attributes.
Vendôme Global Partners was founded by Elsa Berry, who serves as Managing Director as well as President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce NYC. Vendôme Global Partners LLC, a strategic financial advisory services firm focused on the Luxury, Beauty and Premium Branded Consumer industries on a global basis.
Before founding Vendôme, Ms. Berry served as the Head of Global Luxury M&A in the Consumer, Food & Retail Group at Houlihan Lokey. Previously, she was the Head of Corporate Finance North America at BNP Paribas for 20 years and was the Founder & Managing Director of Vendôme & Company, a cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions boutique which she sold to BNP (1983-1989). Ms. Berry has over 30 years of cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions experience, and has originated and executed domestic and cross-border buyside and sellside M&A transactions with a focus on Consumer Products, Luxury, Food & Beverage and the Media sector. Currently, she serves as the President of the Board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce New York and National and is a foreign trade advisor to the French government (Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur).
