FAQs:
How can I acess the portal?
Before logging in, you must first activate your profile. Invitation emails were sent by the FAC on February 1st. Check your inbox and spam folder for an email from membership@faccnyc.org. If you did not receive the email, please reach out to membership@faccny.org and we will resend your invitation.
Alternately- request access here. A member of the FACC team will approve your request and resend the activation email.
Who can access the portal?
This portal was imagined as a tool for the following groups:
- FACC members
- Job Seekers- bilingual, work-authorized and interested in roles in the tri-state area.
- Recruiters- interested in hiring qualified bilingual candidates or posting a job offer from their company
Both Job Seekers and Recruiters must request access. All access requests will be reviewed and approved by the FACC team. Access for these two categories are limited, and do not give access to all platform functionalities reserved for members. Please visit the portal to learn more.
I am a member, but it says my access has been disabled when I try to access the directory.
Member profiles have been synced with your current membership period. If you are receiving this message, it's time to renew your membership! Please submit your renewal and payment online or contact membership@faccnyc.org for invoicing and re-activation of all Member Portal features. We thank you for your continued engagement in the Chamber and look forward to supporting your business for the year ahead.
How do I use the different funtions of the portal?
Stay connected to our newsletter, we will be scheduling small-group platform walk throughs in the coming weeks. You will find that the platform is very intuitive and easy to use, by taking a few minutes to explore the different features, members should be able to navigate independently. If you come across a bug or are unable to complete your desired action, please reach out to us at membership@faccnyc.org.
Can members of my company access the portal?
Portal access is limited to individuals named under an FACC membership. Individual memberships include Young Executives, Associate, Active and Councilor levels. Corporate memberships are valid for six individuals. Only corporate members named under their company's listing will be listed in the member directory found in the portal and have access to this space. If you would like to review your current corporate member listing, please reach out to membership@faccnyc.org.
Why didn't I receive an account activation invitation?
Please be sure your FACC membership is up to date. If you have not renewed for 2021, or your payment has not been processed, and your membership has exceeded the grace period and is now considered as expired, you will not have received an invitation to the platform. Please renew your membership online, or contact membership@faccnyc.org to discuss.
How do I log in once my profile is activated?
Visit https://www.community.facc.org to sign in with your email and password you created when activating your account, or via the single sign-on (SSO) option selected during activation and connected to your Linkedin, Facebook or Google account.
Can I use my login from the faccnyc.org member directory?
No. We have decided to adopt a new platform, you will need to follow the activation steps to reconfigure your access.
Do I still need to log into faccnyc.org?
The new Member Portal has replaced the member-only pages previously found on faccnyc.org. The old portal is no longer accessible on our faccnyc.org.
Does this replace the member-only Linkedin group?
Yes. At the beginning of April, we decided to consolidate our online presence and close our members-only Linkedin group. We are condfident that funneling our online community to engage in conversations via the portal will improve your member experience.
Will the FACC still post updates to Social Media?
Yes, we will continue to post general updates to social media. We are revising our content strategy and will transition to posting only post-event previews. Going forward, full-format articles and on-demand event recordings will only be available to members.
