Meet the CoWorker: Emilia Udvareva, EDHEC

In November, we announced the arrival of Emilia Udareva, Country Manager at

EDHEC Business School, at the

FACC CoWork.  As part of her responsibilities, Emilia has been engaging the EDHEC Alumni network in NYC. This June, they participated in the

AAGEF Regatta Race and took home a first place trophy at this inaugural event in the New York Harbor. Ten boats, each representing a French Grande Ecole, raced for 2 hours around downtown Manhattan and the race was followed by a networking cocktail. A spectator sail boat followed the regatta which offered a magnificent view of the race and of downtown Manhattan. EDHEC also won a prize for 'Best Cheering Team'. Prizes were given to the winning team during the cocktail reception. As sailing has been popular and is a tradition amongst many EDHEC students and alumni, this win was particularly important building comaraderie among graduates.   Following the regatta, an EDHEC Alumni Dinner was organized in New York to celebrate the winning sailing team, marking the last event of the summer with a spectacular view of the water.  EDHEC Study Abroad Students at Columbia Summer Program visited the FACC office to meet with the

International Career Development Programs Department and Associate Maria Pogrozewska. The small group format allowed students to discuss internship and exchange opportunities available through the FACC as well as different resources to find opportunities in the United States.
